SCHOOLS PROGRAM

The Dunkeld Writers Festival Schools Program inspires a love of reading, writing and storytelling in young people across our region by connecting students with some of Australia’s most celebrated authors and illustrators. Through engaging talks and creative workshops, the program encourages imagination, curiosity and a lifelong connection to books and ideas.

Past participating authors include Leigh Hobbs (2024) and Kate Mildenhall (2025).
